Yes - our caravan/trailer reverse cameras can be used with other head units and monitors as long as the input signal type, and connector type is the same.
Our head unit compatible camera kits, include a 4pin and yellow RCA plug for connecting to the head unit / monitor.
If you are using the kit with a CJ INDUSTRIES head unit, or similar - choose the AHD version from the product selection menu.
If you are using the kit with an older caravan camera monitor, factory head unit, or head unit with a CVBS/PAL input format - choose the CVBS/PAL selection from the product menu.

Yes! The "Dual Reverse Camera Switching Module" located on our website (available separately) allows you to connect both a vehicle reverse camera, and a caravan/trailer AUX reverse camera simultaneously to the same monitor/head unit.
This module converts 2x cameras, into the single input. To switch between them, simply click the switch included in the module kit, and the other feed will display live on the screen.
Yes, we design our camera kits to be as DIY Friendly as possible. The cable connections feature either a 4pin aviation locking connector, or a yellow RCA connector depending on the kit. Minor wiring for power and ground connections are required for most kits (unless stated otherwise) - however this is very straightforward.
Yes, if you connect the camera to the AUX camera input on your CJ INDUSTRIES head unit - you can bring up the AUX camera image on demand , even whilst driving.
Alternatively, for other head unit brands - you can use our switching module to manually switch between camera feeds and bring them up on demand.
Yes — our cameras are designed for outdoor use and harsh Australian conditions, including rain, dust, heat, and highway travel.
